    Good Camera, October 11, 2006
By Steve (FL) - See all my reviews
Got it yesterday. In green. Actually it's a shiney yellowish-green. Nice feel. Fits well in shirt pocket. Very light; particullarly compared to my Pentax Optio 550. Good, nice size LCD. Easy to use yet with nice availability of choices for customization. Well written manual (you can find online thru google) and onboard help menu. Photos come out fairly nice. Tried indoors in low light with several scene settings, outdoors, macro, and supermacro. Colors look true, fairly sharp without noticable artifact. Used in South Florida morning daylight outside without any trouble with LCD viewing (camera has no classic viewfinder). Have read reviews of washout in bright sun: have not tried that yet. Overall, I'm happy with the camera thus far. (Posted on 8/28/07)

John P : I just got this camera a few weeks ago. Photos come out really nice. Tried indoors in low light with several scene settings, outdoors, macro, and super macro. Colors look true, fairly sharp without noticeable artifact. Outdoors, in bright sunlight, the LCD washes out and is a little hard to see. May want to order shade screen. Apr 23, 2012

Max N asked: How is the flash? Do the pictures look bright enough in dim light settings? Nov 9, 2011
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (1) No (0)
Joni S : I do most of my picture-taking at night as the team photographer for my son's football games. The camera and flash work very well. Not only are they bright enough, the quality and quick shutter speed are perfect for action photos. I have already captured some great photos of my son that will have to be framed! Nov 9, 2011

George E : The flash works surprising well, at least in-doors for family photos, where I use it mostly. It's rare I get any red-eye, and colors come out more true than with other flashes (at least it seems that way to my non-pro eye). I hope that helps. Apr 22, 2012
